Sarah MacLeod

Based in Indianapolis, I am a mixed media artist creating both fine art and functional, handmade pieces.

After taking a four-year break from painting, I returned ready to move beyond the realism that shaped my earlier work and explore new styles, textures, and ways of making.

Some pieces are playful or cute. Others come from more personal or difficult places. Often, they’re both at once.

Alongside traditional artwork, I also create crafted objects like earring holders and wall hangings - pieces meant to be lived with, not just looked at.
